Severodonetsk and Lisichansk has small groups of volunteers who are risking their lives and sourcing food, water and medicine and delivering it to the bomb shelters and schools where people are hiding.

Severodonetsk is located far East into the country and they don’t get enough of humanitarian aid from Europe and US.

Windows in the buildings are shattered. There is no gas in the city, no electricity, no water, no heat. It is a cold winter month; people are struggling to stay warm.

All the funds goes to feed people in Severodonetsk, Lisichansk and Rubezhnoe.

We are a group of volunteers in the U.S. in the process of creating our non-profit organization “Help Severodonetsk”. We are dedicated to raising funds and  providing humanitarian help to the cities of Severodonetsk, Lisichansk and Rubezhnoe, as well as raising awareness about the current situation in the Lugansk region since the Russian invasion on February 24, 2022.  We sincerely hope you would be open and willing to help and support our mission in any way possible, spread the word, and together we could provide relief to the people of Severodonetsk.

Our U.S. team, whose members were growing up in Severodonetsk, works diligently to support the team on site, who risk their own lives every single day to provide humanitarian aid to vulnerable groups and individuals in the area.

Severodonetsk is the acting administrative center of Luhansk Region due to Luhansk being controlled by the self-proclaimed “Luhansk People’s Republic”. It is located far east in the country where the Russian Federation unfolded its massive attack on Ukrainian territories. The city is surrounded and heavily bombed by russian military, but it doesn’t fall under the protection of Ukrainian army, it’s holding off the enemy from advancing deeper into the country. Over 100 buildings were destroyed, people lost theirs lives, people lost their homes,  they are left without water, electricity and gas, without windows in the middle of winter months and have no choice but hide in their basements that are not designed as bomb shelters. Severodonetsk is on the verge of a humanitarian crisis. The Ukrainian government and larger charity organizations are more focused on providing help to big Ukrainian cities that are also under siege. However, small towns are in desperate need of their attention, help and protections as well! There are no functioning green corridors that could bring the help in or evacuate people, especially for vulnerable groups. Our only way to provide some relief is to support local volunteers financially and bring public attention to the worsening situation in Severodonetsk and surrounding areas.

We would be happy to connect and tell you more about our efforts.
